Jack Boyle - The Gutter Gentleman, about 1926
Scope and Contents
Typescript (72 pages) of the story "The Gutter Gentleman" by Jack Boyle (1881 - 1928). The front cover notes that the story was "Based on an idea by Douglas Fairbanks." Written in blue ink below the title is "Written for Rudolf Valentino." Two addresses are written on the front cover; that at the top is lined through in ink and not completely legible, but the lower address is that of film producer J. Stuart Blackton. At the top of the first page is a stamp, lined through in pencil, reading "Submitted by S. George Ullman & Associates, Inc.," with the firm's address.
