Scope and Contents
These photographs were taken when Ms. Nesslage traveled to Moscow in 1989 as a representative from the League of Women Voters-US at the International Conference on Environment & Society. Apartment photos were taken during a visit to a friend of Cora Weiss-ED Sane Freeze on the outskirts of Moscow. Other photographs were taken in Moscow and during a trip to a monastery museum outside of Moscow (this is where they saw the troika).
