Scope and Contents
This sub-series contains the pre-1984 grants, which were organized by grantee. Files contains correspondence, grant applications, photos of grantees, press releases, and grant reports.
The files related to the Link Energy Fellowship cover 1984-1992. Other fellowship files generally cover 1957-1977, but if a grantee sent an update to the Foundation in the years following their project this was added to the file. Because of this, a grant may have been completed by 1977, but contain letters/upadates from as late as 1993.
