Two letters from Henry Bradshaw written from the Cambridge University Library about book purchases:
To Rev. R. H. Quick on November 7, 1886, Bradshaw writes "If your friend will let us have the copy you mention of Barnard's Journal of Education, 28 vols for £15/-/ I shall be very happy to send a cheque by return of post for the amount, with best thanks to you for putting us in the way of getting it."
To Rev. G. H. West on November 10, 1885, Bradshaw writes "You do not say which volumes the bookseller has retained, but as we have some of the volumes, it may answer our purpose to buy what you have left. If you will kindly let me know I will tell you at once."
