Biographical Note
Lidorna Adelaide Russel was born in 1846 in Owego, Tioga County, NY to Josiah G. and Lucinda Russel. Between 1865 and 1870 she married Edward Rogers of Newark Valley; the couple had three children: Bertha, Una, and Clarence. Bertha married first Guy S. Marean and second Edward Floyd; Una married Harry Angevine; Clarence married Margaret E. Ross. Lidorna, whose name is sometimes given as Ladorna or with additional alternate spellings, died in June 1915.
