Scope and Contents

Theatre-related programs and clippings, most undated. It is clear that some of the clippings are older but not dated. Most of the clippings are simply images rather than full articles, sources are most often not indicated.

Theatres represented include National Theatre, Sharon Playhouse (1), Schubert-Belasco Theatre. All programs are 1933-1934.

Performers represented include Helen Hayes, Lois Moran, Ina Claire, Alexandra Danilova, Harriet Hoctor, Rosalind Russell.

News pieces regarding deaths of Arnold Korff (1944); Hugh and John Buckler (1936); Pauline Frederick (1938); very brief death notice for Cecil Lean (1935).

Of note: Program for (The T. Arthur Smith Concert Bureau presents) Monte Carlo Ballet Russe at the National Theatre (most likely 1934) and related clippings.
