Continuation of scrapbook assembled by Edith Adams Stone from programs collected by her mother, Ada Gertrude (Harrison) Adams.

Mounted theatre-related clippings, most undated. Most of the clippings are simply images rather than full articles, sources are most often not indicated. Some early photographs/photocards. Death notices account for most recent dates.

Programs: Rudolph Aronson's Superb Orchestra at the Metropolitan Concert Hall, 1880; "Edgewood Folks" at Abbey's New York Park Theatre, 1880; Rudolf Bial's Grand Orchestra at Koster and Bial's Concert Hall, 1880; "The New Magdalen!" at the Grand Opera House, 1880; "As You Like It" at Wallack's 1880; "La Fille du Tambour Major" at unidentified theatre, 1880; "Widow Bedott" at Ford's Grand Opera House, 1881; "Fatinitza!" at Ford's Opera House, 1882; "La Femme a Papa" at the Chestnut Street Opera House, 1885; "Polly" at the Chestnut St. Theatre, 1885; "Tannhauser" at the American Academy of Music (Philadephia), 1885; "Engaged" at John Drew's Arch St. Theatre, 1886; "The Mikado" at the New National Theatre, 1886; "Princess of Trebizonde" at Albaugh's Grand Opera House, 1886; "Donna Juanita" at Albaugh's Grand Opera House, 1886; "The Grand Duchess of Gerolstein" at unidentified theatre (probably Albaugh's), 1886; "The Black Hussar" at the New National Theatre, 1886; "Mascot" at Ford's Opera House, 1886.

Of note: Handwritten letter to "Mrs. Ada G. Adams" signed by Sol Smith Russell, March 24, 1887 (on Willard's Hotel, Washington, DC stationery).

Of note: Program for "Hazel Kirke" (A Comedy Drama written expressly for this Theatre, by Steele MacKaye) at the Madison Square Theatre, 1882. Included is a souvenir booklet with illustrations "drawn by Mrs. James E. Kelly from life, and are the same that appeared in the Souvenir Programme issued on the 250th night of this remarkable run."

Of note: Handwritten letter to "My Dear Madam," signed by J.C. Bangs, dated May 25, 1900. Handwriting is hard to read but appears to talk about Lawrence Barrett and the Booth Brothers (Edwin Booth, Junius Brutus Booth) and productions of Caesar. (on Bismarck Hotel and Restaurant (Chicago) stationary).

Brief death notices for Walter S. Lennox (1905), Sara Stevens (1902?), Myron W. Whitney (1910); News pieces about death of Sidney Drew (1919) and Louise Searle (1903).

Performers featured include: Sol Smith Russell, Ada Cavendish, George C. Boniface, Maurice Grau's French Opera Company, Charles B. Bishop, Haverly's Comedy Company, The Boston Ideals (Boston Ideal Opera Company), Lillian Russell, Anna Judic, C.D. Hess English Opera Co., Louisa Lane Drew, McCaull Opera Comique Company, Summer Opera Company.
