Miscellaneous Clippings, about 1900-1935, 1959

 File — Box: 95, Folder: 3

Scope and Contents

Mainly theatre-related image clippings.

It appears that the majority of clippings in this folder are pre-1930 although most of the materials are undated making it difficult to narrow date range.

The 1959 clipping is about the Barrymores.

Of note: vintage advertisement, c1930? Hart, Schafner and Burp (London, New York, Chicago, Yonkers): "Pants For Women! Originated by Marlene Zilch (Elmer's sister)" Refers to "Marlene Zilch, who started the fad of wearing pants in Hollywood and New York." On the verso is an ad for the "New Blymouth Six" (Plymouth).

Documentation indicates this is part of Stone Collection.
