Scope and Contents
Pamphlet announcing productions of The Wingless Victory and Candida in the Empire Theater, presented by Katharine Cornell, and High Tor [with Burgess Meredith and Peggy Ashcroft] in the Martin Beck Theatre, presented by Guthrie McClintic.
Included in the pamphlet are synopses of the stories and some of the cast in each as well as images of some of the actors.
Inserted into the pamphlet are a newsclipping "When a poet proffers his hand and heart" with an image of Robert Harris and Katharine Cornell in a scene from Candida at the Grand Opera House [undated] and a clipping of images of [possibly?] Katherine Cornell as a child with the following captions "I was the despair of my mother because she couldn't make a lady of me" and "And, 'An actress has to be beautiful,' said Dr. Peter Cornell" [undated].
