Scope and Contents

Program for The Serpent: A Ceremony created by The Open Theater Ensemble in collaboration with Jean-Claude van Itallie under the direction of Joseph Chaikin. The Acting Company consisted of Joyce Aaron, Raymond Barry, James Barbosa, Jenn Ben-Yakov, Shami Chaikin, Brenda Dixon, Ron Faber, Cynthia Harris, Philip Harris, Jayne Haynes, Ralph Lee, Dorothy Lyman, Peter Maloney, Ellen Schindler, Tina Shepard, Barbara Vann, Lee Worley, Paul Zimet.

First page inscription: "Copenhagen, Cheers-All this a long story. Will write soon. Love Jenn."

There are also seven pages of information about Masks: an evening of entertainments selected from the following repertoire: Sunday Morning, Zapping the Cong, State of the Union, Foursome, Locked Action, Clown Play, Games, Wild Mountain Thyme, The Red Burning Light, Square Dance, The Bill of Rights, Witness, Keep Tightly Closed in a Cool Space.
