The Picture Book of Becky Sharp; A Play In Four Acts by Langdon, Mitchell. Founded on Thackeray's "Vanity Fair," produced September 12, 1899 by Mrs. Fiske. Published by Herbert S. Stone and Company, Chicago, 1899.
Unpaginated. 30 x 23.5 cm. Illustrated with a host of photographs captioned with text excerpts from the play. Mrs. Fiske (Minnie Maddern Fiske) who stars as Becky, was one of the leading American actresses of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century. Contains "An Appreciation" by Edward Fales Coward worthy of a publicity director.
Actors included Tyrone Power, Robert V. Ferguson, Charles Plunkett, Maurice Barrymore, Mrs. Fiske, Zenaide Williams, Ida Waterman.
Stamp on back cover indicates that this was part of the SUNY Binghamton Theater Collection.
