Scope and Contents
Includes 1889 program for "The Schoolmistress," "Dandy Dick" and "The Magistrate" (all in one) which was the last performance at the (old) Royal Court Theatre in London. The theatre closed on July 22, 1887 and was demolished.
The present building was built on the east side of Sloane Square, replacing the earlier building, and opened on September 24, 1888 as the New Court Theatre. Program for 1924 production of "Back to Methuselah!" at the (new) Royal Court Theatre. Programs for "Endgame" and "Treats" (both 1976).
