Scope and Contents
Bespoke leatherbound album with blindstamped decorations and titled "Ansco Album | 1928 - 1948 | Dr. Leopold Eckler" on front board. Illuminated parchment title page reads "Ansco Album | 1928 - 1948 | Because our lives and his for up to twenty years were bound together in good fellowship the people in all the Plants and Departments of Ansco affectionately dedicate this volume to Dr. Leopold Eckler | Binghamton, New York | 31 October, 1948." Following this are photographs of the various departments, with blank pages signed by the staff members of those departments. A leaf at the back of the album includes color photographs using different technologies developed at Ansco: Coloroll (1931), Printon (1944), and Negative-Positive (1948).
