Scope and Contents
Written from Lambertville, Hunterdon County, New Jersey. Opens "Dear Friend Grace." Thanks her for the "gem pic" and asks if it was taken "as a likeness of yourself." Describes a sociable he attended and wishes he was at Rockland to visit. Encloses a flower, the outline of which is visible.
Envelope postmarked at Lambertville, September 18. Addressed to "Miss Grace Nichols, Rockland, M[?]", partially torn away. Written in pencil to the left, "Try Maine." Various algebraical calculations in pencil on the verso.
