Scope and Contents
This sub-series contains correspondence to and from Bartle related to Harpur College. Correspondence covers the founding of the college, joining SUNY, grants and budgets, the choice of site for the campus, buildings and equipment on campus, personell, student enrollment, the creation of departments and courses, religion in the college, other higher education institutions, accredidation, awards, graduate studies, and his retirement.
