Faculty biographical files [RESTRICTED- contains personal and employment information], 1950 - 2016
Scope and Contents
Faculty biographical files were kept by Communications and Marketing for each faculty member who worked at Binghamton. The files were created to keep track of faculty members' careers and keep basic information that would be helpful in answering press questions. Files usually include a form that contains the faculty member's personal information and career history. Other documents that may be present include portrait photographs, CVs, publications by the faculty member, records of classes the faculty member taught, and clippings of news articles about the faculty member.
Files were transferred to the archives periodically when faculty members died or stopped working at Binghamton, so they do not contain records of faculty that are currently teaching.
