Biographical / Historical

Jonathan Cohen was University Photographer starting in 2005. He described his role on his LinkedIn profile in 2023:

"Support the University's photographic and video needs for strategic communications and marketing, including the University magazine, the annual report, brochures, admissions pieces, the research magazine, fund-raising materials, the faculty/staff newspaper, other publications, the University's website and social media pages. Duties also include athletics, event coverage and general assignments in support of the University's goals and strategic objectives.

"Responsibilities include all phases of the development and execution of photography, including working with art directors and campus clients to develop image ideas. Working with the University's senior director of media & public relations and the University's video producer in capturing and editing video content for the University's website and social media needs. Keeping the maintenance and care of University photographic equipment and archiving of photos as they are edited."
