Scope and Contents
The Institute of Global Cultural Studies records document the research published and events held by the IGCS, as well as their administrative, financial, and reporting functions. The IGCS records contain annual budget requests and reports, conference programs and financial reimbursements, and planning materials for the Mazrui Celebration of Life event. It also contains incoming and outgoing correspondence, documents about projects undertaken by IGCS faculty, meeting minutes, financial records, newsletters, photos from events, and research grant applications. There is a small amount of audiovisual material, which includes recordings of conferences and media appearances. Lastly, the collection also contains papers and documents authored by Ali A. Mazrui as part of his appointment as the director of IGCS.
