Scope and Contents
This series includes various photographs related to the life of L.M. Bowers. The majority of the series is made up of formal portraits of L.M. Bowers and other members of the family, including Clement Bowers, Fanny Adella Gray Bowers, and Frances Irene Gere Bowers. There is also a small amount of photographs related to Bowers' business dealings, including photos of the Rockefeller Building and the launching of the L.M. Bowers ship.
There is also a small number of photographs of anchors sold by L.M. Bowers and Co. in the Bowers-owned businesses series.
