This scrapbook includes the 165 captioned images which ran in the Binghamton Press from April 1 to December 5, 1946, as part of the series first called "This is the Triple Cities" which became "In and About the Triple Cities" on May 31, 1946. The lined notebook into which these clippings were glued had originally been used for another purpose; in the leaves at the rear of the book which do not contain clippings appear penciled names with added comments in pencil (for example: "Carl West | cute but too short"). Some but perhaps not all of the clippings may have been pasted over similar entries.
