T-shirts, Academic Success Network, undated, approximately 2000s
Scope and Contents
The majority of the materials in this series were collected or created for an exhibit created in 2004 to celebrate the history of the Educational Opportunities Program (EOP) during their 35th anniversary. Files include exhibit labels, photographs, collages, exhibit planning files, t-shirts, a scrapbook, lists of EOP students, and news clippings.
The exhibit covered the students who attended EOP, the staff, the work and death of Director Michael V. Boyd, alumni of the program, and the 1994-1995 protests when funding for the EOP was being cut.
There are also a group of photographs included in the series which appear to be unrelated to the exhibit. These photographs are in envelopes from the busnisesses that developed the photos, suggesting they were camera rolls or sets of digital photos sent for development together. Other photographs are on CDs. These photographs generally document the EOP summer students, including their dorms, orientation, classes, barbeque, annual banquet, awards, and talent show. These photographs cover 2002-2009.
