Scope and Contents

The Mark Kulikowski Collection, is a diverse collection of historical material from and about the Broome County region. Part of the Local History Collection, this collection consists of twenty-one linear feet of area newsletters, programs, bulletins, newspapers, booklets, magazines, music and music scores, posters and flyers, photographs, postcards and artifacts. Memorabilia includes items such as trade and business cards, trade tokens from local businesses, and commemorative envelopes and pins.

The collection is open for research use and has no known restrictions.

Biographical Note

Mark Kulikowski grew up in the Triple Cities region and was an alumnus of the State University of New York at Binghamton. He donated materials to the Local History Collection from 2007 until his death in 2018, in an effort to aid in the preservation of this region's history. An endowment, established by the Kulikowski family upon his death enables the Libraries to acquire additional materials for the collection.
