This folder contains a five-page typed biographical sketch of Rose; a June 27, 1912 letter from H. Clench to Charles F. Wright as chairman of the Pennsylvania Society; an October 17, 1912 letter from Wright to Hon. H.J. Rose; and two copies on pink paper of an October 17, 1912 letter from Wright to Clench. All concern the biography of Robert H. Rose (1776 - 1842).

Typescript copies of an obituary of Hon. John Grieg and resolutions passed in Grieg's memory by the Bar of the Seventh Judicial District (Canandaigua) and the Ontario Female Seminary (Canandaigua). The typed copies were made after 1890, using two different letterhead sheets (Silver Lake Resort for three pages, Rose Brothers cattle for another).
