This series consists of sketchbooks, including student sketchbooks, and portfolios for various plays. At some point in time, some of the sketch books in this series were cut apart and had to be reconstructed during processing. The portfolios contain extensive annotations by Neher in German about various aspects of the play. The Argonauten and Medea portfolio is of particular interest as it contains technical drawings for designing various props and furniture for the production.
