Overview Ottilie Ethel Leopoldine Herbert, Countess of Carnarvon (née Losch; 1903–1975), known professionally as Tilly Losch, was an Austrian dancer, choreographer, actress and painter. Martin Bros. Circus collection

Overview The collection contains correspondence, bills, receipts, broadsides, and business advertisements pertaining to Martin Bros. Circus, located in Castle Creek, NY. The circus was owned and operated by Clayton Hawkes and Carroll Miller. Its tent shows toured upstate New York beginning in the 1930s, with the company's winter quarters in Castle Creek. Clayton Hawkes and his wife Madge also ran other circus shows, including Clayton's Combined, Bogart and Hawkes, and the Great American School Show.

The Loften Mitchell Collection

Overview James Loften Mitchell (April 15, 1919 – May 14, 2001) was a playwright and theatre historian who was part of the black American theatre movement of the 1960s and was a professor at State University of New York at Binghamton's theater department and the Department of African American Studies (1971--85), and professor emeritus from 1985 until his death. Mitchell was part of a groundswell of writers who contributed to the black American theatre movement in the 1960s.

A. Lee Nesslage Russian travel collection

Overview This collection includes materials gathered during two trips to Russia in 1977 and 1989. The posters, most pins, a 45 rpm record, and maps are from a March 1977 trip to Moscow and Leningrad with a Lehigh University Alumni Association tour. The prints, photographs, and t-shirts are from the donor's attendance at the 1989 International Conference on Environment & Society in Moscow as a representative of the League of Women Voters.
