Abstract Vera Beaudin Saeedpour started the Kurdish Heritage Foundation, Kurdish Library and Kurdish Museum all out of her home in Brooklyn, NY in the early 1980s. Abstract

This collection includes two diaries (for 1879 and 1881) of Jacob Van Gorder Shappee (1840 - 1917) of Elmira, New York, as well as the treasurer's book for the Elmira chapter of the Order of United Friends covering the years 1889 to 1891, and two photographs of young men camping.

Overview

These items were primarily assembled between 1962 and 1995 by members of the Binghamton University Theatre Department. The main focus of this collection is theater but there are also materials relating to motion pictures, music and dance. Included are scrapbooks, programs, photographs, and ephemera such as tickets and broadsides.

The Wasson Family Papers collection contain correspondence, notes, memoranda, lists, diaries, translations, drafts, typescripts, proofs, government documents and illustrations related to the principal members of the Wasson family including most notably Thomas Campbell Wasson, Richard Gordon Wasson, and Valentina Pavlovna Wasson.

Abstract

Collection of blank postcard portfolios depicting Leningrad, Moscow, and the Neva, plus five photographs taken in the former USSR circa 1975 by Jerome L. Yesko. Mr. Yesko traveled to Russia in 1975 as part of a legal exchange program between U.S. lawyers and their Soviet counterparts. Mr. Yesko purchased the postcards and brought them back to the U.S. where he gave them to his daughter, Jill Yesko, as a souvenir of his trip.

This collection includes administrative and other records of the Young Women's Christian Association (YWCA) of Binghamton and Broome County, New York. Records include meeting minutes, membership books, annual reports, and correspondence, and well as documention of various YWCA programs and initiatives.
