Abstract

The University Communications and Marketing records documets the research and work of University Communications and Marketing (UCM). University Communications and Marketing is responsible for public and media relations for Binghamton University. While all the records were transfered from the UCM office, the majority of the collection documents activities, events, and personell from other departments.

This collection includes correspondence, photographs, business and local history research files, maps and other materials of Josiah T. Newcomb (1911 - 1981), director of the Binghamton University Library from 1953 to 1971 and Broome County Historian.

Overview The Max Reinhardt Library and Archives at Binghamton University is one of several notable collections worldwide of books and manuscripts dealing with the work of the Austro-German theatre director Max Reinhardt (1873-1943). Abstract Vera Beaudin Saeedpour started the Kurdish Heritage Foundation, Kurdish Library and Kurdish Museum all out of her home in Brooklyn, NY in the early 1980s. The Vera Beaudin Saeedpour Kurdish Library and Museum Collection was donated to Binghamton University Libraries in February 2011.
