This collection contains photocopies of manuscripts of Rabbi Jacob Hurwitz's sermons for Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and other Jewish holy days from 1956 to 1981. These sermons were given at Temple Israel in Vestal, NY.

Letters received by John B. Livernoche (1848 - 1917) and Kate Smith Livernoche (1850 - 1908), with one note received by their daughter Laura. There is some unrelated material in the final folder. John and Kate moved to Binghamton, New York in 1871, where John worked as a shoemaker.

The newsletters reflect a wide variety of interests, such as political, social, health, and environmental concerns and issues, as well as arts, education, historical accounts, and religion. Titchener's service on the Binghamton Housing Authority from 1953 until 1972.
