Slovak community celebration (Lithuanian Hall, Binghamton), about 1923 - 1927
Scope and Contents
Photograph of a large group of Slovak community members in Binghamton's Lithuanian Hall, located at 315 Clinton Street. A large banner above the subjects displays many local Slovak-owned business names. A cake with candles is located at the center of the image at the front of the group, which includes people of many ages, some holding flowers. Mark Kulikowski suggests that this may be a fraternal order celebration of some kind.
