Scope and Contents

Large-format photograph of a Polish-American parade on Prospect Street in Binghamton, with the spire of St. Stanislaus Kostka church at upper right. A banner at the front of the parade reads "1800-1925 Binghamton [,] Our beloved City | Polish People - New Americans." A decorated car bears a sign reading "Polish People." Other readable signs include "1800-1925 God Bless Binghamton" and "Three Cheers for Binghamton." The photographer's name is given below the image on the cardboard backing as "S. Vaineikis, 269 Clinton St., Binghamton, N.Y." where he was based between 1924 and 1926.
