Scope and Contents
Street view captioned at lower center of recto "Main Street looking West, Lestershire, N. Y." Dated in ink 1905 and postmarked on verso 1906. Visible on the first building in the image is the painted sign for Lloyd Bro's Dry Goods and Shoes." Short note at foot of recto from "Nettie" to her mother: "hope you are rested from your trip. I am here at this place, you can see the whole Block." Publisher is given on verso: "No. A1748. Published by The American News Company, New York. Leipzig-Berlin."
