Scope and Contents
Advertising postcard for a two-night performance at Binghamton's Stone Opera House. Captioned on the right side of the recto "A. H. Woods Offers Potash and Perlmutter From the Stories of the Saturday Evening Post by Montague Glass". Printed in black on left side of the verso: "A. H. Woods Presents Potash & Perlmutter | An Up-to-Date Garment in Three Pieces Made by Our Special Designer, from Material in the Famous | Saturday Evening Post Stories by Montague Glass | Trimmed With a Thousand Laughs and Guaranteed to Fit All Sizes and Ages". Added in red, and nearly overprinting the final line: "Direct from a 2 years run at the Geo. M. Cohan Theatre New York City. | Will be on display at the Stone Opera House | Binghamton, N. Y. | Friday and Saturday, October 9-10 | Matinee Saturday". According to local newspaper reports, this performance was in 1914.
