Visible in the background is the business of S. S. Wheeler, a firm speciailizing in photography, which shared a commercial building with a tailor and tobacco shop, signs for both of which are visible on the building and the windows. Publisher is given at left margin, verso: "S. S. Wheeler, Binghamton, N. Y." so Wheeler himself issued this postcard.
