Scope and Contents
Color postcard with five images from Celeste Tavern, located on the corner of Court and Carroll Streets in Binghamton. The images show the exterior of the building, the bar, the staff, the dining room, and a decorative "Celeste" coat of arms is at the center. Caption at top left of the verso reads "Celeste Tavern | Known for the best Italian-American Cuisine | Fashionable dining in a relaxing atmosphere | Corner Court and Carroll Sts., Binghamton, N. Y. | 722-1512". Publisher is given at center of verso as "de Clercq Studio, Binghamton, N. Y." The number "58159-B" is printed at lower left, verso.
