Scope and Contents
Double-sided advertising card. Recto features a generic scene with two owls, captioned at top "We're from the Owl Country" with copyright notice dated 1882, Hard & Parsons. Captioned at lower right "Clonney & Ely, (Successors to H. E. Pratt,) Stationers, 43 Court Street, Binghamton, N. Y." Advertising text on verso touts the firm's Modern Book Store, "the Handsomest line of wall paper and window shades, the best gold pens and rarest novelties always in stock. Standard Works, Magazines, Papers, and all the latest Publications, including a full line of Seaside Library. Sole agents for The American Bible Society and Presbyterian Board's Publications."
