- Single-sided printed advertising card, reading "Lester Bros. & Co. | Manufacturers & Wholesale Dealers in Boots and Shoes, Dickinson Block, Binghamton, New York. | H. N. Lester | G. W. Lester | H. A. Goff." Stamped in purple diagonally "Jno L. Dame". Ink and pencil arithmetical notes on verso.
- Double-sided chromolithographica advertising card, with generic scene of girl with flowers on recto. Captioned at top "Standard Screw Fastened | Boots and Shoes | for Wear and Comfort | Have no Equal | Try Them". Envelope at bottom reads "All us School Girls wear Standard Screw Fastened Boots and Shoes | They are no nice." Lower margin reads "Donaldson Brothers, N.Y. | Copyrighted 1886 | Over". Printed verso reads "Parents, Remember | There is Great Economy in Buying, and Solid Comfort in Wearing | The Hand Made 'Lester Boot,' Manufactured only by Lester Bros., Binghamton, N. Y. | These boots are standard screw fastened. | They Never Rip. Are Smooth Inside. Will not Run Over. The only Perfect Foot Covering made. | See that 'Lester Boot' is stamped on every sole."
