This folder includes a range of documents from William S. Chittenden's time with the U.S. Navy and Naval Reserve, mostly dating from 1942 to 1954. Individual items include his Naval identification card, officer service record, discharge certificates, telegraphed order notices, training certification records, travel vouchers, medical and immunization records, etc.

This folder contains two certificates, both dated October 8, 1958: the first appoints Thomas S. Chittenden to the degree of "Apprentice Oozlefinchling" in the Ancient and Honorable Order of the Oozlefinch; the second recognizes his graduation from the AAA Officer Basic Course No. 18 at the United States Army Air Defense School.

This folder contains several pieces of correspondence between James Alvin Every and the Johnson City Selective Service Board, two retained typescript copies of resignation notice dated August 10, 1942, seven retained typescript copies of letters sent by Every during his employment at Kroehler Manufacturing Company regarding the Employee's Payroll Deduction Bond Plan, and a Kroehler Manufacturing Co. payroll receipt record for James M. Calabrisi for 1941-1942.
