Scope and Contents A large scrapbook of newspaper clippings and printed ephemera pertaining to the 1911 New York senatorial election, in which former lieutentant governor William F. Sheehan was blocked from election by a group of Democratic legislators which included Franklin Delano Roosevelt, then serving in the state senate.
