Dice, but Dickinson's handwriting is not particularly readable; the recipient's name could even be Dickinson. The letter concerns an autograph, whick Dickinson says he will look for an example of to send along.

Letter from Daniel S. Dickinson to John Clapp, Esq. of Norwich, Chenango County, New York. This letter was written shortly before Dickinson left Guilford in Chenango County, where he had been serving as postmaster, for Binghamton. He sends Clapp "an appointment for agent," and writes that once he is settled in Binghamton he will visit Clapp in Norwich and "will see all matters strait."
