Binghamton City Guards "20 S. N. Y. NG." button, 1878 - 1903
Scope and Contents
Gold-colored button with a large "20" at center, "Binghamton City Guards" around the center ring, and "S" "N" "Y" "NG" in the four compartments around the outside. In 1878 the Binghamton City Guards were designated as the 20th Separate Company, Infantry (New York National Guard). This designation changed after 1903, so the button likely dates to that period.
Mark Kulikowski's documentation for this object is located in Box 51.
