Manuscript diary of Lidorna Adelaide Russel Rogers (1846 - 1915) of Owego, Tioga County, NY covering the period August 1911 through January 1912. In near-daily entries, Rogers records the weather, family visits, daily events and chores, and her health. Many family members and acquaintances are mentioned.

Abstract

Ten letters from Erastus L. Clark to his cousin Francis E. Clark, 1846 - 1858. In these letters Clark passes along family news and updates, discusses his education and early jobs as a teacher and newspaper editor, and records his reaction to reading "Uncle Tom's Cabin."

Manuscript part-book in an unknown hand on two folded sheets, headed "Die Seeschlacht & die Meerkatze: Rolle der Lisette." Gives the lines for Lisette and brief notations on the other characters. The play was first published in 1809. The watermark on the paper is not easily identifiable, but the handwritten seems to date from the early decades of the nineteenth century.
